If you own a restaurant, it goes without saying you’d always be on the lookout for promotions that will increase your order values. The right promotion will make your customers feel like it’s a good deal even if they have to spend just a little bit more to get it.
Here are some ideas:
o Meal Deals work well because suddenly your customers have not only ordered more than they’d planned, but they’ve paid more too, and all because you’ve told them they’re getting value for money.
o Create a discount voucher for orders over a certain amount. For example a 10% discount for orders over $50 means customers will increase their order value so they can claim the discount.
o Run a lucky draw competition where by a customer who orders over a set amount will go in the draw to win a prize – But make sure it’s a prize worth winning!
And don’t forget to let your customers know about your promotion… In-store posters, flyers, email and text campaigns, even a website popup message would do the trick.
